A reminder the day before and another a few hours ahead, by email or text. Fewer people fail to turn up.

Switch on Reminders under Add-ons. You choose whether to remind the day before, how many hours ahead (0 turns it off), and not to remind people who booked only a short while ago.
Whoever left an email gets it by email. Whoever left only a phone number gets it by text, from the ones your plan includes.
